London’s Park
London has many beautiful parks and gardens: Hyde Park, Regent’s Park, St.James Park, Green Park Kensigton Garden’s. These big parks are open to the public. They have many attractions. On a good day at lunchtime many people go to the parks. They like to have their lunch there, where you can see trees and flowers, birds and little animals. During the summer military bands play music at lunchtime.
Regent´s Park has an open air theater. In the summer you can sit there and see a play by Shakespeare in the open air! Hyde Park has a big artificial lake, where you can sail, fish or swim. And it has the famous Speaker’s Corner, where people are free to speak about the world’s problems: politics, religion, wars, pollution. Some of them tell us the end of the world is near!
